This blog is specially created for all scc bowlers and family to share your ideas on how to improve our club facilities. We will also share photos, news, birthdays, leagues, events etc etc etc on this blog. All are welcome to share.....

Below is a copy of SCC Special Update newsletter which i believe many have received. Few of us will be attending the Focus Group Discussion on 10 June in relate to F&B, Social and Sports and we would be glad to hear from as many as possible. As of now, some of the following suggestions were given and since the date is not far from now, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let us know what your needs are and we will compile it and bring them up during meeting:-

1) Better gym equipments and a bigger gym if possible
2) A bigger dance studio for yoga, pilates, zumba, ballroom dance etc
3) A renovated male and female restrooms at the sports section
4) To install a elevator to the bowling alley as it's very strenuous for bowlers to carry 2, 3 or more balls up the stairs
5) To level the floor at lane 1 at the bowling alley to avoid any trip from bowler
6) Eagle's View to be opened daily instead of only on wednesday to sunday.

Since our club has the extension given upto year 2040, which is another 26 years;
- are you happy with the current state?
- do you want better facilities?
- do you need a bigger sports hall/complex?
- how is our security?
- what about F&B, tennis court, swimming pool etc etc?

We would really like to hear from you since this is your club and it would be good for all to share their preferences but there's a need to justify the changes too.

Going forward, our priorities are to: (1) Maximize the use of our facilities and resources. We will spend your money wisely and look for opportunities to give you, your family and guests reasons to be proud of Seletar Country Club. (2) We will give you excellent service. We will upgrade and develop the Club’s facilities and administration to make your every visit enjoyable. We will equip and train our people well to deal with you to your satisfaction. (3) We will consult with you. We will ask for your views and listen to what you have to say. We believe that you should be involved in decisions that affect your Club. Focus Group Discussions Join in our Focus Group Discussions. These will focus on three areas, namely: Golf (to be held on 3 June) F&B, Social & Sports (to be held on 10 June) and Corporate Social Responsibility Programmes (to be held on 17 June) All sessions will be held at the Eagle’s View from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. While the focus matter will be discussed in detail, other general matters pertaining to the Club’s upgrading and development can be discussed apart from those specified above. Each Focus Group Discussion is limited to a maximum of 50 participants only.
